Is Qu-Chat really free?

Yes! Qu-Chat is completely free to use. There are no premium tiers, no subscriptions, and no hidden costs. We're building this for everyone.

How do you make money if it's free?

Currently, Qu-Chat is a passion project. In the future, we may explore sustainable funding through grants, donations, or optional paid services that don't compromise privacy (like premium IPFS pinning).

Can I trust Qu-Chat with sensitive information?

Our cryptography is solid (NIST-approved post-quantum algorithms), and our architecture ensures we can't access your messages. However, this is still early-stage software. For highly sensitive communications, we recommend waiting for a professional security audit.

Do I need cryptocurrency to use Qu-Chat?

No! You just need a Web3 wallet (like MetaMask), but you don't need any cryptocurrency in it. The wallet is only used for identity—no transactions or gas fees required for messaging.

Is there a mobile app?

Not yet, but it's on our roadmap! For now, Qu-Chat works in any modern mobile browser. Native iOS and Android apps are coming soon.
